The ranch which opened in August 2013 is less than 10 miles from downtown Colorado Springs, spreads over 16 acres surrounded by the Pike National Forest. The onetime retreat of gold and copper magnate Spencer Penrose houses guests in 10 one-, two- and three bedroom cabins with wood-burning fireplaces.
